Founded nearly 30 years ago from a visionary collaboration between Massachusetts-based sailboat builder Edey & Duff and several Key West fishing professionals, Conch Boats have defined the realms of offshore fishing with unparalleled designs and performance. Initially sparked by the need for a supremely able fishing vessel, their journey led to the launch of the groundbreaking Conch 27.
RR Boatworks, recognizing the Conch 27’s iconic status, acquired Edey & Duff in 2005. Initiating an era of expansion, they introduced the powerful Conch 33 less than a year later, setting new standards in the industry. Their commitment to innovation didn’t stop there; continuously refining designs, they have enhanced materials and fabrication methods aligned with the latest in marine technology.
The new millennium saw Conch Boats further diversify their lineup with the introduction of the Conch 30 in 2015, a luxurious yet rugged contender born from the DNA of the Conch 27 but with modern advancements such as an integrated bracket and updated features. In 2020, the Conch 25 Bay Boat was launched, skillfully blending shallow water agility with offshore capability, marking another milestone in Conch’s illustrious path.
In their latest venture, 2021 was marked by the announcement of the Conch 18 Pistol, a masterful shallow-water skiff, and the Conch 41, a feat of engineering embodying power and elegance in a high-performance offshore console—both set to redefine marine benchmarks.
